I was shocked when I heard the news of my brother Dennis’s sudden passing. I couldn’t believe that at the age of 60, he was gone. However, in the days which have followed, it has been extremely touching to read all of your heartfelt comments about him. They all seem to capture his enthusiasm, dedication, intelligence, insight and unique personality. As many of you know, money was never a motivator or a symbol of success for Dennis . My mother and I always thought that if he would just charge for the things that he did, he could be a wealthy man. But that wasn’t what drove him. Reading all of your remembrances and talking to some of his friends, it is clear that he was well-rewarded in ways that were meaningful to him. He was a good person with strong convictions. Well-spoken, well-read, a little quirky, but he always seemed extremely happy with what he was doing and the life and friends he had made for himself in Pasadena. Thank you all for being part of his world and for sharing your thoughts. I hope to meet many of you when my husband and I come out. A memorial service is being planned, and we will try to notify everyone as best we can of its time and place.

May God bless you,

Robbie Ross
